I've been developing a little math game for my son who is presently in grade 2. You'r a little robot who is trapped in a maze and the only way to get out is by solving math problems in order to unlock doors and other obstacles that are in your way.
Here it is, my first Construct 2 tutorial. Yeah!!!
I'm going to be using Construct 2 - Free addition to build this platformer within the 100 Event and 4 Layer Limitation. And for the graphics, I decided to use Ansimuz (Luis Zeno) Platform Pixel Art Assets aka gratto Escape pack hotsted on OpenGameArt.org.
I figured that since this is my first article about DOS games I've played in the past, I'd write about the first PC game I ever played, THEXDER. So let go back to Christmas 1987 when my parents got the family a Tandy 1000TX Personal Computer and I also got a Sierra Online Bundle that included Thexder and Silpheed. Being a BIG Robotech fan at the time and seeing the Thexder Box cover, man was I exited.
I remember connecting everything and inserting the Thexder disk. But wait!
